Since hitting my Instagram milestone of 500 followers, with much sincerity, I would like to thank all that contributed to my social media growth with this little tribute I made for fans of Dan Abnett’s Gaunt’s Ghosts fiction series from Black Library. 4 omnibus and counting, his work had been a most legendary feat and I read and enjoyed each and every one of those, as I am sure plenty of others do as well.
While many a title from BL had made me yawn or laughed at the writer’s childish prose; Dan Abnett had consistently surprised me with his level of mastery in fiction writing and attention to details and thinking outside of the box. I started reading GG ever since I attended college with the intention to improve my English, and the hobby had stayed with me after way after university. Of course, later on, the Eisenhorn/Ravenor series had been a blast too.
In GG, there were so many colorful characters and as a great writer, Dan never holds back to kill off major and minor characters left and right in order to push the story development.
In memory of those characters who had fallen in service to the Throne, I made this rather sombre looking spread featuring the carved names of the heroes on a little shrine surrounded by candles; and of course - straight silver!
So, feel free to peruse these as the backdrop of your mancave, hobby chamber, or the background of your devices.Artwork by me. Gaunt’s Ghosts book series is written by Dan Abnett, under license from Black Library and Games Workshop. All rights reserved to their respective owners.

I’m drawing The Witcher: The Lesser Evil, a graphic novel based on the short story of the same name, for Dark Horse Comics. Here’s a bunch of snapshots from the upcoming book. Enjoy!
